The same watching-and-acting loop pointed at scheduling, inbox triage, finance ops and internal knowledge — with audit trails a compliance team will accept.
Behaviour, not benchmarks
A small research group studying memory, restraint and when an assistant should stay silent. Findings go straight into shipping products, or they do not count.
One substrate, many products
Every product sits on shared infrastructure — signals in, judgment in the middle, actions out. It is why the second product takes months rather than years.

An ambient assistant that keeps watch so you do not have to.
Atlas reads across calendar, inbox, markets and weather and answers before the question forms. It expresses its state as light rather than notifications — warm when things are good, cool when all is quiet. It asks before it speaks on your behalf, never after.
How we work
Four habits, repeated until the product feels inevitable.
Find the judgment call
We look for the decision a person makes every day with incomplete information. That is where an assistant earns its place — not in generating more text.
Build the smallest live thing
A working surface on real data inside three weeks. We would rather be corrected by use than by a review.
Instrument the trust
Every autonomous action is measured for whether it was wanted. Accuracy is table stakes; permission is the product.
Ship, then stay
One person stays with the product long after launch. Ambient software only gets good in the second year, and there is nobody to hand it off to.

A vertical business system on the same substrate. A first design partner is already testing it. It gets a name when it is real.
What we hold to
Restraint is a feature, not a limitation.
An assistant that speaks less is trusted more. We measure silence as carefully as output.
The model is a component, never the pitch.
We swap models the way we swap databases. What stays is the judgment we build around them.
Nothing acts for you without asking first.
Every action is previewed, reversible, and logged in plain language. Autonomy is earned in increments.
